We literally have not been home for a full week since mid-June--and even then I'm thinking there was a night or two that we were gone which mean's that we have not been home for a full week since we got home from Chicago!! And that's just the way Summer should be!
Right after Boy's birthday we headed back up to the cabin. I can't believe we went from blistering heat to down-right chilly in a matter of days. This is the only trip to the cabin I can remember having to build fires to stay warm at night.
We ventured to the river again. This is becoming one of our favorite things to do.
We played at the park and ate ice cream afterwards.
It ended up being a beautiful week up there.
We bought Bean and Boy a swing-set so this is how Bean has been spending her summer:
Then mid-July we went back up American Fork Canyon. This time we had reservations and this time we had the best campsite in the campground...
...complete with the very best climbing rock...
...which quickly turned into North Mountain.
We had outdoor pancake breakfasts.
We went and played in Tibble Fork Reservoir. This is the most perfect place for little kids. It remains fairly shallow a good distance out.
You can't beat the scenery.

We made it back up to the cabin the week of July 24th. The water had dropped a tremendous amount which made it the perfect day to play and explore.
We love summer. After the 24th I always sort of feel like summer is really winding down. We still have a few more fun outings though!
